Overnight Trips
Atlantic Divers Annual Cancer Awareness Day
Atlantic Divers Annual Cancer Awareness Day is TBA for 2007. Dive to Beat Cancer and have fun with us at Dutch Springs in PA. Contact shop for tickets, sponsorship and details.
Dry Tortugas
The Dry Tortugas trip on the Ultimate Getaway is a great dive for all levels of divers. Dives range from 20 feet to 90 feet in and around the Park. There is an opporyunity to visit Fort Jefferson. Advanced divers may be able to dive the Baja California on the return.
Eastport, Maine
Eastport, Maine was incorporated in the 1840's and continued to be one of Maine's most active sea ports until the turn of the century. Steamships used this area as a regular port. The small fishing community docks burned and fell into the sea twice. Rare bottles, jugs, clay pipes, and steamship china have been recovered here among the giant lobsters that prowl the rocky bottom. This is not for the novice divers. Even for the most experienced swift currents, cold water and depths up to 120 feet make this a challenge. Next Trip TBA for 2007
Fort Myers, Florida
Atlantic Divers journeys from Fort Myers Beach to dive some offshore wrecks in the Gulf of Mexico. We venture to wrecks such as the Oil Wreck. The identified oil tanker could possibly be the Monger T Ball torpedoed in WWII. This particular site is a one hundred plus mile voyage. The rarely dived wreck is partially turtle on it's starboard side.
Twenty miles inshore sits the Baja California. Diving this awesome and visually exciting wreck is amazing. The Baja was another torpedo victim of WWII. She lies tilted on her port side. The wreck yields assorted glass wear, bottles, and dishes. Cosmetics and combs, were also found aboard.
Halifax, Nova Scotia Harbor Dives
Next Trip TBA for 2007. Depths from 90-210 feet. For more information call the shop.
