Open Water Scuba Diver
     Are you interested in Scuba Diving? Well here is the class for you! This basic course will start you on your own scuba diving adventures. In this course you learn the fundamentals of SCUBA in order for you to explore the underwater world safely. This course certifies you to scuba dive any where around the world. The certification is recognized all around the world. The course cost includes a text book, dive tables, 7 class sessions, and the equipment necessary for the pool.   
You will need to provide your own mask, fins, and snorkel. While you are enrolled take advantage of our student discounts on mask, fins snorkel, wetsuits and scuba equipment and accessories.

Course will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays at Mainland Regional Pool.

This fun and comprehensive entry level course promotes safe scuba diving fundamentals. Successful completion of these classes with confined water training will qualify students for openwater certification dives.

 Course fee: $280.00 Includes textbook, tables, registration kit, all scuba equipment for seven sessions, class and pool instruction.

 Students must provide scuba quality mask, fins, snorkel, boots and mesh carry bag.
Student discounts and packages are available prior to first pool session through the shop.

Advanced Open Water Winter-Spring 2012
 Continue your diving by signing up for our Atlantic Divers Advanced Course (Introduction to Wreck Diving).  This course will prepare you for the real adventure of wreck diving off the Jersey Coast on some of the most exciting shipwrecks in the world.  Don't try to do it on your own when you can get experienced diveguides to tour you.     
We offer the Advanced Open water course which includes the Intro to Wreck diving information. This course prepares the Basic Open Water diver for exploring shipwrecks off the NJ coast.  This course will meet once a month January to April for class.  Dives will begin at the end of April through August 2012

Enriched Air Nitrox (Nitrox I)
     Want to extend your bottom time, lessen your surface interval, and maximize every dive? Become an Enriched Air Nitrox diver! You will learn how to choose the proper blend of Nitrox for your dive profile, determine maximum depth limits for your Nitrox mixture, analyze your breathing mixture, and plan and safely execute each dive. Your instructor will teach you about the physiology of oxygen and nitrogen; advantages, disadvantages, and risks of nitrox; oxygen toxicity; hazards and precautions of handling oxygen; the concept of Equivalent Air Depth; use of EANx with standard Air Dive Tables; common gas mixing procedures; and more.

Rescue Diver
     Learn how to manage risks and effectively handle limited in-water problems and diving emergencies, how to assist and transport divers, and how to perform surface rescues and rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers.



Oxygen Provider
     This course represents entry level training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public in recognizing possible dive related injuries and providing emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and/or arranging for evacuation to the nearest available medical facility.

CPR/First Aid
     Take a step toward emergency preparedness and meet Rescue Diver prerequisites with a CPR class. CPR gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies -- not just in the diving world, but in your every day world with your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers too.

TDI Advanced Nitrox (Nitrox II)
     The TDI Advanced Nitrox Course qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 to a depth of 40 metres/130 feet during dives hat do not require staged decompression. Often taught in conjunction with the TDI Decompression Procedures course, this can be considered the foundation of your technical diving career.   Register now for spring session with Instructor Anthony Tedeschi





TDI Decompression Procedures
     The TDI Decompression Procedures course prepares you for planned staged decompression diving. With a maximum operating depth of 45m/150 feet, this course is your first step beyond the normal sport diving limits. Your TDI Instructor will provide you with valuable information and skills, among the topics covered are Kit set-up, Equipment requirements, Decompression techniques, Decompression breathing gases, Gas management, & Contingency planning. The TDI Decompressions Procedures course combined with the TDI Advanced Nitrox course form the foundation of all other technical courses. After these two courses and some additional experience, the stage has been set for you to move onto additional technical levels.
