Course schedule: Tuesdays 5:30 to 8:30p.m. in September 12, 19, 26, - October 3, 10 & 17

Note: There is NO REFUND for any classes. Students may transfer the course to another student or use credit for their own equipment, if the course has not started. Once the course has started there is no transfer allowed or credit. eLearning programs cannot be transferred. Class time, pool requirements and dive skills are considered for certification. (Dive fees are additional.) There is no guarantee to pass the course. All objectives must be completed within 6 months after final pool sessions. All required paperwork, medicals, waivers, eLearning, tests and fulfillment of required skills must be completed to achieve certification.

If you are already certified, but have not dived in a couple years, Atlantic Divers can reevaluate your skills and give you a refresher course to get you back in the water. You must show proof of certification and have dived within the past 3 years. Start today. Cost: $400.00 includes evaluations and a tour guide on one two open water dives.

NAUI Scuba Diver
Are you interested in Scuba Diving? Well, here is the class for you! This basic course will start you on your own scuba diving adventures. In this course you learn the fundamentals of SCUBA in order for you to explore the underwater world safely. This course certifies you to scuba dive anywhere around the world.
No hidden fees... Students must provide scuba quality mask, fins, snorkel, boots and mesh carry bag.

ADVANCED TRAINING PROGRAMS
Advanced Course
(Introduction to wreck).
Starts Wednesday October 4, 5:30 -8 p.m.
The area's best Introduction to Ocean Wreck Diving on exciting New Jersey Wrecks! We specialize in North Atlantic Wreck Diving and have ventured to thousands of wrecks from Florida to Newfoundland. Get insight on shipwreck history, equipment handling and expedition planning from experienced sources and veteran wreck divers.
Cost $600,00 includes lectures, confined water training, eLearning Wreck Diver or Advanced, all tour guides. Dive fees and rentals are additional.
Don't try to do it on your own, when you can get experienced dive guides to tour you.
We offer the Advanced Open water course which includes the Intro to Wreck diving information. This course prepares the Basic Open Water diver for exploring shipwrecks off the NJ coast but goes into much greater detail and is a great course for any diver that wants to sharpen their wreck diving skills. Training includes lectures on physics, physiology, equipment techniques, ocean diving environment, deep diving theory, and dive safety. Pool practical and tour guide mentoring on all dives.

Want to extend your bottom time, lessen your surface interval, and maximize every dive? Become an Enriched Air Nitrox diver! You will learn how to choose the proper blend of Nitrox for your dive profile, determine maximum depth limits for your Nitrox mixture, analyze your breathing mixture, and plan and safely execute each dive. Your instructor will teach you about the physiology of oxygen and nitrogen; advantages, disadvantages, and risks of nitrox; oxygen toxicity; hazards and precautions of handling oxygen; the concept of Equivalent Air Depth; use of EANx with standard Air Dive Tables; common gas mixing procedures; and more.

Description: This is a certification course for certified scuba divers who desire to assume greater rescue capabilities during diving activities. The training emphasizes accident supervision and management with practical applications in open water. This course is designed specifically to provide the knowledge and skills necessary to help prevent diving accidents, recognize life threatening diving situations, perform or supervise in-water rescues, manage rescue operations and provide post-rescue aid.

This course represents entry level training designed to educate the general diving (and qualified non-diving) public in recognizing possible dive related injuries and providing emergency oxygen first aid while activating the local emergency medical services (EMS) and/or arranging for evacuation to the nearest available medical facility. Take a step toward emergency preparedness and meet Rescue Diver prerequisites with this class. The combination course gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies -- not just in the diving world, but in your every day world with your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers too.

The NAUI Advanced Nitrox Course qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 to a depth of 40 meters /130 feet during dives hat do not require staged decompression. This can be considered the foundation of your technical diving career.
TDI Decompression Procedures
The TDI Decompression Procedures course prepares you for planned staged decompression diving. With a maximum operating depth of 45m/150 feet, this course is your first step beyond the normal sport diving limits. Your TDI Instructor will provide you with valuable information and skills, among the topics covered are Kit set-up, Equipment requirements, Decompression techniques, Decompression breathing gases, Gas management, & Contingency planning. The TDI Decompression Procedures course combined with the TDI Advanced Nitrox course form the foundation of all other technical courses. After these two courses and some additional experience, the stage has been set for you to move onto additional technical levels.
